Anyone ever install software to track someone??

It was called SpectorSoft, looked like it could record keystrokes and it could also take screenshots of what ever comp you installed it on. That got me thinking, if any one had done that to there comp, in the case of a younger brother or sis, or your son or daughter using your comp for bad things. Or in the case of installing it on another persons comp to get info on them, like a spouse??

Mods, if this is uncalled for please Lock, but this is a serious question.

We looked at getting that for some of the computers here at work, but never did end up going through with it.

I installed a keylogger on my home pc as part of a school project on corporate privacy policies, and forgot to turn the keylogger off when I was done messing with it. It captured every keystroke I used while playing Grand Theft Auto on my PC, along with whatever my younger sisters had typed in AIM, chats, email, etc. Powerful stuff...but I uninstalled it.

She found out and her reaction was kind of funny, because she was mad but at the same time knew that I knew what was going on, so it was really awkward. Strange situation.
