Saw someone one day said he used like a 1:10 alcohol/h20 mix in his watercool.

I thought, wouldnt the alcohol eat your lines?

Anyone know about this.

If the alcohol doesnt work to kill any of the watercooling components, it will work as a germ-killer. Kills bacteria, mold, most things that grow in water.

wow I never knew alcohol actually kills the bacterial stuff I'll have to try that instead of buying more antibacterial drops from the pet store.

I'd keep the mixture low. Remember alcohol has a much lower boiling point than water...nominal CPU temps for today's processors could easily vaporize pure isopropyl...a water mixture should be ok though.
