Anyone ever heard of such a thing

One of my mates told me the following:

you mix about three chemicals together and you add a powder. once stirred, the solution turns thick and semi solid, however, if you leave it alone for about ten seconds, you can pour it out like water.

ever heard of such a thing?

yes, there is some set of chemicals that you can mix together. they are classified as a goo.

an easy way to make this type is to take a teaspoon of Starch power and added just enough water to be absorbed by the power. when handling it the stress keeps the power in a solid state making it crumble. when let go it will loose its stress and turn into a liquid and basicly soup out of your hand! they call this "Solid or Liquid" over here in the states
a very easy formula and a good introduction into chemistry!
