Anyone ever heard of Etekcity? How is their quality?

I've never heard of the brand other than it coming up in Amazon searches. I took a chance with a bluetooth speaker and it's pretty impressive for the money.

Their other products also get 4+ star reviews, and their product line is pretty diverse but not very focused.

Anyone have experiences with them?

I have a set of 5 remote controlled receptacles. I got it back before Christmas and used them on lights that were outside so I didn't have to go out in the cold...they worked great and were under $20. They are typical Chinese electronics....they're cheap and they work most of the time. The plastics are medium quality...not extremely low, but not high either.

They likely slap their label on products they buy in bulk, like everyone else over there.

I have an HDMI hub from them. It works great. It even auto-switches (they don't even advertise that it does that).

I've got a couple of their USB wifi dongles (with antenna, since these were for PCs that were in a basement or just fairly far from the router). Seem to work pretty well, bought them over a year ago.

Yeah, they don't seem to specialize in one particular area, so I was wondering if they were just rebadges.
