Anyone ever hear of L & C power supplies?

I am wondering what the quality is on L & C power supplies. I have model number LC-A400ATX and need to know if it would be good enough for overclocking an athton xp cpu. Any programs or utilities I could use to test the quality of it?

Unfortunately, L&C has a really poor reputation among the Forum users. Considering the possibility of the PSU going *FOOM* and nuking some or all of the other hardware, my 2 cents' worth is to get a name-brand PSU to replace it. There is a 420W Enlight for $46 shipped at Newegg that I would trust, although I'm a fan of the Antecs for the long warranty, quietness and good quality. Enermax and Sparkle Power are a couple other brands that have earned good reputations too.

I had a 300W L&C power supply, which was powering a pretty loaded system, with a 1GHz Thunderbird processor. Well, I had it overclocked to 1.4GHz on a 133MHz bus, and then I ran CPUBurn on it. The power supply didn't survive more than about a minute - several resistors fried inside it, turning the surrounding circuit board brown. They apparently don't do well as they approach full-load.
