Yeah - are they new over in the US? They've been around here for over a year. Tastes quite nice, especially with a full glass of ice, but I've never noticed it giving me any 'NRG boost', and it certainly hasn't given me the ability to fly. It's also far too expensive for the amount you get. Boo!

I tried it and wasn't impressed. Tiny can, average cola taste .. no wings sprouted :(

It sucks. Carbonated water, like all the others. It's got more CO2 than most. Why is more carbon dioxide than other beverages worth my money?

I've had it. I've seen it around here in LA, for at least 2 years, maybe longer. It's pretty sweet in flavor, the can is small, definitely felt the caffeine boost, and I never feel a caffeine boost, not even from coffee. Most of my friends like it, those that don't, say they don't like the taste. To me, it kinda tastes like a strawberry hard candy, that might sound funny, but hey, that's what it tastes like. It's become popular now to drink redbull and vodka at the bars and pre-partying before going out.

late.

This stuff tastes like arse... it looks like ginger ale, but the second you put your nose over it, you get assaulted with this awful stench. Tastes like cola? What the hell is wrong with your taste buds? I've had better tasting three month old sweedish fish.

Well i downed one of these before my MS NT Server exam and passed:) I guess it kinda calmed me down- made me less nervous. It costed me about 2 bux(pretty expensive for how small that sucker is), and i do like the taste :)

It's been here in miami for about 3 years...
Originated in Austria around 1986 I think...
Mainly the drink of choice in the club/rave scene.

It's kinda pricey though, 2 bucks a can on average...if you go to a real club, it jumps to 5-6 bucks a can...then again, so does everything else...don't get me wrong I love bumping elbows with the a-list, but I hate paying ten bucks for a vodka martini :).

Good stuff. Mix it with vodka for fun :)

I've had it and got so drunk off it. Oh wait you're talking about the energy drink with the same name as the malt liquor aren't you?

Okay, I'm driving to my hometown tomorrow. It's a 5 hour drive. I'll buy me a few Red Bulls and see how they are. If they can keep me awake, then they can work miracles. ;)

Red Bull is cheap malt liquor around here. There are 40oz bottle with red or blue bulls on the bottle. When I was in college we used to go ghetto and drink Old English and Red Bull all the time.

Funny how it's a energy drink now.

dwell: My parents probably sold it. They are whosale beverage distributors. I remember Red Bull and its companion drink Schlitz Bull.

Hehe, the dude across the hall from me used to get wasted on Red Bull and come out of his room saying, "If you can't ride the Bull, you can't hang with me."

I am glad my taste in beverages has gotten better since then.

Red Bull is from Europe, and yah its big (sorta) in the Rave/Dance Scene, starting to peter out now in europe as new drinks/drugs etc hit the market, but its starting to become 'big' in the states.

Its illegal in Canada (only country that i know of that wont allow it... stupid Canadian food n drug ministry) More caffeine than Jolt though i believe.

I had my first Red Bull when i was in Amsterdam at a club, a popular mixture is with vodka. Tasted good, but costed me 14 bucks. Sucked

It's been around for some years here in Sweden-tastes pretty good especially with vodka ;). It contains high amounts of caffeine (they use some south american plant called guarana I think, which contains lots of caffeine). But it's way too pricey

tastes like liquid sweet tarts. not much of a buzz, maybe the same as a few jolts or an okay cola.
