Anyone ever have a C2D stop showing 2 cores in Intel TAT or Core Temp?

Using Intel TAT CPU 0 shows a temperature, and CPU 1 shows "--".
Core Temp also shows nothing for the second core.

I am thinking your cpu uCode got changed somehow in the bios. Limit the CPUID. IT may think it is a Pentium M.

I started Orthos and it said "Launching 1 thread".

So I rebooted at stock speeds and everything is showing 2 cores now. Odd. Temps never got over 50C overclocked, and Orthos ran overnight.

Should I clock it back up, and consider that fluke, or?

fluke. Under the bios try changing cpuid to numbers 1-3
