Anyone ever had this problem with a floppy?

We have a couple IBM P4 Netvista's running win2k at work and sometimes when we insert a floppy the entire system freezes. I have never heard or seen this before, just curious if anyone else has.

 

no...but sometimes when i turn on my printer i get a BSOD...in win2k no less.

Sometimes when I flush my toilet in my bathroom, my brother's computer crashes in the other room.

never happened to me before.... but it has been a year or two since I have used the flopy drive.

Never heard of that happening, My only guess would be that its a software conflict ( Like antivirus software reading the disk..) Just a guess.

Yah, I prefer using my hard drive

I rarely have floppy problems....It's usually my hard disk that causes all the problems I do use a good anti virus though
