So I went to Circuit City tonight cause I was pretty bored. I had received a few gift cards for my birthday 4 or 5 months ago, and I found a sweet deal, an ATI TV Wonder Pro Remote Control Edition for 50 bucks. So I decided to go for it cause it seemed like a great deal. When I got up to the front checkout counter, the employee rang it up and as I got out my wallet, he said my total was a little over 100 bucks. So I told him it was 50 bucks, and he asked to see the tag, so I took him to the tag where it had said the item was 50 bucks. Apparently, he rang up the tag, and the ATI card and they were different merchandise, but also he was (I guess) obligated to sell it to me for 50 bucks, or else it would be false advertisement. So here I am happy with a TV tuner card that I got for 50 bucks off for the stores mistake
Anyone else have this happen to them?
