Anyone ever had a PSU go bad and kill the motherboard with it?

Well, I have a Generic 300W ATX PSU that I am modding right now to put in my Enlight 7237 but have used it very little and am worried about the reliability of it. I don't care if someday down the road it dies, I just don't want it to take my mobo with it. Has this happened to any of you guys before? Please LMK and thanks in advance

check hardocp...as i recall steve had a bad psu kill his mobo and p4 all in one fell swoop...

his 11.13.01 post shows the p4 it killed and has some basic info
