Anyone ever grilled a frozen pizza on a gas grill?

Does it work? Does it taste good (as much as frozen pizza does at least) when it's done?

never tried it before......you'd probably need really low heat to cook the center while not burning the bottom.

I'm attending a BYOB grill party in a few hours. I can either run to the store or bring the pizza that is in my fridge.

Put it on the top rack, not the lowest in the grill.

Actually, grilled pizza has been featured in quite a few trendier restaurants. It's more a novelty than anything else so it hasn't really taken off to my knowledge, but it's not unheard of.

Probably not... the crust would probably be too thick. You certainly can make your own, and just make the crust extremely thin, then you can grill it.

you guys do realize that a grill and an oven both cook from the bottom at similar temps, right? if theres not flare ups (shouldn't be with pizza) it should be just fine

oven heats from the bottom but the thing is cooked from every direction by the heated air.
