not me. who buys a dell?

Your brother, your sister your mother your father, your in laws your cousins your aunts your uncles

And if you say you build for those people, you are a sucker.

Given the cost of OS licensese, they are cheaper than a DIY budget system, plus you get a warranty. Now if only they didn't bundle so much sh!t software on them.

As for the original question, I have no idea.

I was blacklisted on 5 different accounts. Finally figured out how to avoid the BL around last July and I've been "clean" ever since. at least that's what Dell thinks 😀

Thats the second reason I will probably never own a Dell, too much bloatware. First reason is Dell doesn't offer AMD.

There is an option to not have that installed in the configuration process.

is this why i haven't received any coupons from them in like 7 months?

omfg, didn't know they blacklisted for reselling.

why? most of my clients would never buy something unless i resold it to them. they'd rather pay me extra money and have me deal with all the headaches of dealing with vendors.

it's not like i'm stealing from their market.

or just uninstall it....????

So, what exactly does being "blacklisted" mean in this case?

Is it, for example purchasing 2005FPW LCD's when they go on hot sales, and then sell them for profit.. and then repeat... over and over? I assume after that, Dell notices frequent purchases, and begins monitoring your activity??

I thought Dell was going to begin offering AMD? Or was that only for the servers ...

I received a laptop the other week, whose specs beat the crap out of my desktop. It froze on windows startup due to all that junk; I spent nearly an hour 'cleaing' all those g.d. useless apps off of it. Now it runs beautifully, but when your tray icons take up 1/3 of your taskbar space, you know there's too many apps in memory.

just wondering..

its bamacre or bamacd

user name, his ip was blacklisted.

Yep bamacre also comes to mind.

IIRC he buys mostly Dell refurbs and sells them for profit.

I prefer to stick with iPods and digicams, that's where the real easy profit is 🙂

Took me about 3 hours on my new HP

Does anybody want to share the secret to avoid getting "blacklisted" by Dell. I had my orders cancelled and my account is dead; everything I order gets cancelled. I can't get a straight answer from Dell. Is there a way to "reactivate" my account and how do i avoid this in the future? Any help is appreciated.
