Anyone ever go crabbing?

The times my friends and I have gone, we've used plain drum sticks. Anyone here use anything else? or do you soak them in anything? We've gone shrimping too and we used cat food for that.

early in the morning or the night before, we'll go to the fish market, and get the bones and heads of the fileted fish for really cheap or free... chinese markets are not good for this, since they usually try to sell them, or they sell the whole fish.. but still they aren't very expensive.. tie it down in each crab net (or whatever trapping device you use) and your'e good to go..
