Not sure what forum to post this in, but does outpost.com usually return rebates, espically on Western Digital harddrives? Back at the end of oct I got two WD 250's on the same order, and sent the rebates in seprately. Didnt hear anything back yet...and I did follow all the rules.

I really need two more WD 250's and outpost has them for $89 each after 2 MIR's. I would actually be happy if I only got one back, but should I look elsewhere?

MIR SUCH donkey balls... The extended time to get them back, IF you get them back, make them even worse. I'd rather spend a few extra dollars and get something without MIR then spend the money thinking it will be cheaper after MIR only to never get the rebate. Also, they can decide that they really couldn't read each and every item they needed filled out, and reject your rebate. It DOES happen, more often then you think. Most people just forget about the rebates and never challenge it.

Personally, if the rebate's not instant, I ignore it when it comes to the cost.
