Anyone have any experience with these legal pyramid schemes? I've got these guys that come by my work once a week and try to get me to join. I finally got them to leave for good, but I was just wondering if anyone had actually messed with one of these multi-level marketing programs.

They were actually trying to get me to drop out of law school to do this...

I have, not Quixtar but fortune hi tech and excel. Made about 1200 dollars. Forced Syringer to join, he lost about 700 dollars.

Stopped messing with it becuase I got tired of selling pipe dreams to idiots.

If you understand that the business is selling castles in the sky and you don't have a problem with that then hey, it's for you. Otherwise don't even give these guys the time of day.

Yeah, this guy told me it is the greatest thing in the world. They got mad when I listened to their pitch, then told them no.

Absolutely.

By two different people, both now in Chicago. Over the phone, my cell phone during DAYTIME cahrges. They used to be my acquaintances, now I dont even try to communicate with them.

Why make me spend my $$ (daytime cahrges) so that they can make $$??

Co-worker tried to give me the pitch. Asked him how much it cost to get in. Then asked him how much he has made.

That shut him up pretty quick.

Not a chance in hell. Was originally recruited by some tards involved with it back in 98 while working at best buy. Had them removed by security.

They kept wanting me to go to these gatherings with them. It was like a cult or something. Always saying, you dont need to go to law school, we have lots of lawyers that quit practicing and are now millionaires! I tried to be nice but they couldnt take the hint, so today I finally just told them to go away.

Still wouldn't have gotten me in. Believe me. I knew all the workings of the scam (scam = company in this case) before these a-holes kept harrassing me.

Yeah, they told me that they would pay my start up costs. I just dont like having to be a door to door salesman, trying to get people let me sponser them. They told me that this guy they know was on hi way to take his finally tests to become a heart surgeon but decided to quit that and work for Quixstar, and now he's a millionaire! Then they gave me this CD to listen to. I never listened to it, but told them I did..

Yes, there are people who make money from it, and like I said before if you want to deal with selling castles in the sky to idiots day in and day out then do it. If not stick to what you do already.

I thought that the moto was "buy from yourself"? I took it as buy things from yourself cut out the middleman and save. Never got involved with it because it sounded like a scam though.

Yeah, he prolly said "buy from yourself" about 15 times today. I just sat there and stared at him for 30 mins, then said..."no thanks, i like what i am doing now." They had been nice all the time then they just got mad and left.
