anyone ever get cysts on the inner thigh?

I just noticed what I guess to be a cyst or maybe just a large bump on my inner thigh about 8 inches above the knee.

It hurts when I put pressure on it. It feels like it is mostly under the skin. I think it just popped up in the last day or two.

Do i have anything to worry about? Could it be cancerous?

I got myself all worked up over this and want some suggestions as to what the cause could be.

I had THREE boils growing on my thighs when I was like 11-12. It took a few days to "ripen" and pop and the hole it made was like half an inch deep :Q

Couldn't walk properly for day. Not fun 🙁

I still have the scars! 😀
 
I have a cyst in my right sinus the doctor told me they wernt going to do anything bout it.
 
I get some nasty ingrown hair/zit types deals in that area sometimes, but I've never had any kind of lump in there. I'd get an ice pick and lance it.
 
I had a cyst in my inner thigh once. I forget the name for it. I did not have insurance at the time - I ended up sterilizing a needle and draining it. Turned out it left a hole in my thight almost big enough for a golf ball to fit inside. Ended up haveing to go to a doctor and having it packed. He just said it happens sometimes. The ah heck was quite painful till I drained it.
 
its most likely not cancer. cancer doesnt grow that fast. I would wait a few days, if it continues to get worse or extremely painful, see a doctor. there are tons of things it could be.
