Anyone ever get a leather jacket altered?

Looking to get a leather jacket arms shortened a bit, but kinda worried that it will come out messed up. Did anyone get leather alteration before? Does it come out looking normal? Thx.

leather isnt like neoprene. it should come out fine if you take it to a skilled tailor.

Hmm, I've got a 3/4 length Tommy that I don't really like the shoulders on. Never thought about having it altered for some reason. I'm going to have to look into that.

I had a zipper replaced in one and I'm sure they can alter it like any other garment.
