ANyone ever get a document contains no data error in firefox?

Lately ive been noticing that on some sites when I click on links like forum links, I get this error. I click again and usually get it once more and then the third time it finally goes through. I have no clue what the hell is going on? anyone got any idea
 
How would an incorrect MTU cause this? I have similar problems on verizon DSL with an MTU of 1500 I think...
