Anyone ever experienced this Terminal Server error?

Everytime i try to connect i just immediately get a "The Terminal Server has ended the connection" error message. I've already tried console access to see if perhaps the service is full or has hung but it's working as far as i can tell. I even ended up restarting the entire server to no avail.

Settings have always been the same for the past few months and i can easily connect to a similarly configured server with no problems.

Just checked the Microsoft support site and they don't seem to document it either.

Any ideas?
 
Yeah, our company had this error when the temporary user account had expired (was a demo account that lasted for 90 days or something). I would check your Terminal Server Licensing out. From the error it sounds like:

1) Terminal Server can communicate with the computer.
2) That node can communicate back.
3) They start to authenticate, but TS ends the connection for whatever reason.

I would say its something on the Terminal Server end, even if its not Licensing like I said. Check there first.
 
Edit: Sorry, I should have read the whole post before opening my mouth.

I have seen this with router issues. I had to reboot my router in order for it to work again.
 
igiveup - I did read on that 90 day licensing problem... the odd thing is this server has a similar config as it's "sister" (cluster) but i'll check it out anyway. There is a minor difference, the sister was set-up on remote administration mode while this one was set-up in application server mode for the terminal services.

edski - I doubt it's the router as both servers are behind the same router.
