Anyone ever done this before?

These flying tubes have recently been banned at lake powell cause so many people have died/gotten seriously injured lately. Looks like a blast though.
 
yup. was tubing and I didnt notice but the driver of the boat signaled another boat to leave a huge wake, well he hit that doing 60 and I go so much air I was way higher than the boat, I let got and skipped along the water a few times before I stopped. It was awsome!

:thumbsup: dude, i freakin love tubing. i think i am going to take the boat out tomorrow for the holiday.
 
you just hang off the back and when the front of it catches a little air underneath, it freakin takes off. it is so much fun

They have large surface areas that create lift.

I've never seen a tube go that high with someone on it, but I guess.... Well, except maybe when they're doing thread the needle at really high speeds, but it doesn't look like they're going that fast.
