Boy, it almost never happens...but I did almost nothing of value today at work. I did one report on a cleaning study and that's it.

I was a total worthless piece of sh1t most of the day...I sat on AT and became a Golden member (okay, so my day wasn't a total waste) and browsed some ebay and Linux sites, read some AT articles...

The last month I've been so busy I usually miss lunch altogether and end up eating it while I answer emails at 6:00 in the evening...hell, I haven't gone to the gym in month...I used to go at lunch-time.

Anyone else care to fess up?

Yep, today. I burned a CD for my boss, and replaced an HP laser jet printer cartridge, and that was it. The rest of the time I sat in my office and read AT and some other sites.

Only everyday. I absolutely hate it. I hate having nothing to do, I feel damn worthless. I'm looking for a new job actually.

cherrytwist, Stallion, flavio: Do you guys work the graveyard shift or something? I would hate to be stuck at work doing nothing this late.

10pm - 6am doing web dev stuff if I need to. What's to hate? I'm all by myself, have some tunes on, I was learning some new software earlier, and like I said....I might get a nap :D

I dig it.

Yep... not doing anything but posting, and that's pretty much what I do every night. In fact, with my job it's actually a good thing that I have nothing to do all night. Otherwise all h3ll is breaking loose!

Hey, here's the key to being succesful in your career... it's not what you do... it's what the people above you >think< you do. :)

Yep working Graveyard. 11:30-6:30am. Been doing it for 7 years and it is really starting to wear on me.

It's nice and quite, well not quite but there are only a few managers and just a handful of employees. And in a few months there won't be any employees. :)

Very boring though.

I wonder when I get paid...

Ugh. The boredom is a killer. And due to a combination of ignorance and the nimda virus, we are no longer allowed to use chat programs. Though, I'm sure that will blow over soon enough (besides, there are always web-based chat clients ;)). But who wants to chat anyway?

I'm just trying to determine how much more money on average I spend shopping online since I've gotten this job.

Oh, and there's always Scrabble :).

This is Oh so very true. If I spend too much time "Windows shopping", it is inevitable that I am eventually going to order something.

I don't get bored really ever. Between music, forums, software, and games I sometimes am surprised it's time to go home already.

They gave me a laptop which I have UT, AoE, and Fallout Tactics on at the moment. I take it with me when I leave so there is zero chance anyone will ever know what I have on it.

some of the guys had Quake load on a couple and played a little one on one but I have yet to try and risk it. Besides my mouse is built in to the key board and it's a pain to use espescially when I would be trying to shoot terrorists. :)
