Anyone ever build an HTPC case out of a stereo receiver case?

I'm just starting this task and wondering how to mount the MB, Going to try and find an old PC case, and use the MB tray, and either try and find a small PSU, or use an external PSU setup.

Just use an ITX mobo, it'll make things much easier.

I have an extra atx and proc here, so would rather use this. also more of a selection in the atx market, for when I upgrade😀

Should work, but check out the D.Vine cases here. They are quite pricey, but some will take a full ATX motherboard.

Yeah saw those, but don't have the cash for this project, just using all my leftover parts from other projects.
