So im working on getting a kegerator setup and i have all the equipment i need, regulator, tank, etc. But i cant seem to find a half size fridge that will fit it. I tried 2 and they both are a little too small on the depth.

Does anyone know for certain a half size refridgerator that will fit a 1/2 keg, and where i can get it?

All of the kegerators you can buy that are professionally done are half size. Most are about 6.0 ft^3. But they have to be completly empty inside.

Mine is a chest freezer with a thermostat. I have a 9cu ft and could get two 1/2 bbl kegs and CO2 tank in it.

Looking for max of about 300.

Broon: Did you put a refridgerator thermostat in your freezer or just leave the freezers in? If you left in the freezers how cold does it run?

I bought an external thermostat ($50). The thermostat plugs into the wall, the freezer into the thermostat. A sensor goes inside the freezer (thermostat outside). Set the thermostat to desired temp and it will turn on/off power to freezer accordingly.

Bah.... Go to samsclub.com and do a search for keg. You'll get their kegerators. You can buy one with the tap handle and CO2 tank for $464.

My parents gave me an old fridge they had in the basement. It's in between a 1/2 fridge and a full size. It's actually the perfect size (although sometimes the freezer part is annoying). Here is a picture of the kegerator. It might look taller than it is, because my roommate is only about 5'9".

i used a stand up freezer i got for cheap down in a shady store. its old but it works. with freezers you have to have either a refrigerator thermostat or a temp regulartor. i went with the temp regulator, drill a hole into the freezer, stuck the regulator's thermostat into it. it turns the freezer on at 40 degrees and back off at 35 degrees.
