Anyone ever bought slightly irregular shoes before?

I want to buy a pair of dress shoes. I need it in extra wide and I really like the look of a plain military dress shoe:

The one that is only $40 is deemed slightly irregular. The website states:

These shoes are factory seconds. We examine each pair of shoes manually and warrant that the shoes are wearable, run true to size, and are free from any gross noticeable defect. If there is a problem we will replace the shoes at no cost to you up to 30 days from the shipment date of the original order.

I'm trying to decide whether I should jump on this.

Shoes are one of those things that are really hard to buy online, (especially in my case since I have wide feet) since the shoe could fit, but there might be some little flap or seam that rubs your foot the wrong way then you end up hating it. You really need to try them on in person before buying
