Anyone ever bought from these places?

Am I crazy to buy a receiver from either of these places? Dbuy.com has a pretty good resellerratings score and a ton of good reviews on pricegrabber.com.

The receiver is nearly 700 cheaper on dbuy.com than if I were to go to Crutchfield or Best Buy.

Any thoughts or experiences on these places?

You didn't say what receiver. I found my receiver for a fraction of what it would have cost me at the box store that carried it. The most important thing is to make absolutely certain that you're purchasing from an authorized retailer. dbuy.com is based out of the Grand Caymans. That would be enough of a red flag for me. I would not be surprised to get grey market items.

I'm looking at the Denon 3808ci receiver. I'll take dbuy.com off my list, thanks allisolm. Maybe I'm just better going with Crutchfield.

I guess it's nice that they have a blu-ray player included at retail pricing. I send an e-mail to AV123 to see what price they're selling it for.

I'm going to e-mail them again just to confirm that it's a full warranty through Denon etc.

EDIT: They're fully authorized. They're 30 minutes from the Denon warehouse and don't list each other on their websites in order to provide better pricing but not affect the business of local B&M Denver dealers.

Full Denon warranty and the ability to take receivers in for repairs at any authorized Denon repair facility.
