anyone ever bought dell products from ebay?

im thinking of buying a dell 2001fp 20" LCD from ebay. the seller has over 500+ feedback at 99+percent positive.

its brand new in box and a dutch auction and the paypal account is a verified account with almost 400 verified transactions, so im not too worried about the seller ripping me off.

what i am worried about is what if i get dead pixels or something somewhere down the line? will dell honor any sort of warranty or am i screwed?

Search ATOT for a post by LukFilm I think he answered this question yesterday?

If you have any warranty issues you would have to go through the original purchaser which is a PITA for both of you.
