Where did you go? I'm trying arrange a trip for four to Las Vegas. The only place online I messed around with is Yahoo. Are there any recommended places?

I book all my flights to New Zealand online. I have never had any problems with tickets arriving or the like.

For international I use Travel Secrets and for domestic flights I shop around, Orbitz looks pretty good.

Or, if SWA is available from your home airport, just go to Southwest Airlines and look for their Internet-only fares. They have fares there that do not show up under other travel/airline sites (they don't completely participate in the cross-ticketing schemes).

I've had better luck with Expedia for airline tickets and Travelocity for hotel reservations, in terms of finding the best available prices.

I just booked a trip to Vegas for November via Southwest Vacations the other day. Expedia also had some good Vegas Packages, but Southwest is the only airline that has nonstop flights from Albany to Vegas, so I went with them.

Checks play!!!

Sorry, getting a little excited there :) You other degenerates know what I'm talking about ;)

Well, my tentative plans so far:

Dec. 30 - Jan 3
flight out of Dallas (for some reason, it's significantly cheaper than flying out of Houston)
1 room for 4 at the Luxor
417.22 per person

This was from Expedia. I haven't checked any of the other places yet. Kind of thinking it'd be cool to be there for New Years. I originally wanted New Orleans, but I couldn't get the hotel that I wanted (Ramada on Bourbon St.).

I've booked trips to Florida a few times from Travelocity.com

Look around online. Some sites have certain web promotions that are only mentioned on their site. Specially if you need to rent a car, you can find special onling discounts on sites as Alomo, Hertz, etc. You might also be able to find discounts for hotel or motels. I remember getting a good deal from Days Inn online

Yeah, I'm going to do that too. I wanted to have some numbers so I'd know what kind of deal I was getting. I'm still going to give New Orleans a shot. I went there for New Years a few years ago and it was a blast.
