Anyone ever been to a Wendy's that didn't have 99 cent menu?

Yeah, a bunch of dollar/99c "value menus" at fast food places vary, either for every item or itemized, between 99c and $1.49. Esp. in NYC or on college campuses.

The wendys in my school's student union had a $1.29 value menu, but its back to .99 now.

I went to a Pizza Hut near Rockefeller Center in Manhattan at some point in the mid-90's. I just remember the prices there were about 3 times what we paid on Long Island. Actually, from Suffolk County as you drove closer to Manhattan, prices would creep up on everything, most noticeably on fast food.

I was at a Denny's in San Fransisco a couple of years ago, and I remember the entrees cost about $12-$20.

So yes, I imagine that at a handful of fastfood outlets in the central business and tourist districts of the biggest cities, it's just not economically feasible for them to do the $.99 menus.

I visited that particular one a couple days before that. Glad I usually get my grub from the drive-thru.

Downtown Chicago (Wabash and Van Buren I think) is $1.29.

Not me for Wendy's.

But I have for Burger King.
The one in Fife, WA has prices like $1.19 (or $1.29 ?) where most other BK's price is $0.99
And so I don't go to that one anymore.
