Me and a bunch of friends are thinking about going to the next one. If so, about how much did you spend on lodging/food so we can get an idea on how much to bring besides money for admissions and all that good stuff.

its not worth it. My Cousin went because he was a big part of some gaming site that doesnt exist nowadays. I'll ask him about it. He pretty much told me that he would have rather gone to the next state over and stayed in vegas.

It was cool when I went, back in '99. Now that anybody can get in, there is no cool crap given out. It's basically just a big demo disc from one of your magazines.

Don't go.

I went in 2003 when I worked at Konami. It's pretty fun. I went all 3 days and it was tiring though. If I ever go again, it'll just be for a day and a half. You see most of the cool stuff in one day anyways. The other time is spent looking at booth babes. :)

Lodging for 3 nights cost me about a hundred bucks. I split a room with a coworker. Also, for food, I probably spent about another 100 bucks for 3 and a half days worth.

Haha. Yeah right. I did see some dude trying to pick up on one when I was waiting in line to see HL2. He kept trying to give her his business card and she kept ignoring him.
