anyone ever able to activate those extra features in for your Alcatel DSL modem?

is something disabled here? the manual shows that these things have a plethora of features... how can you enable them?
 
If I'm not mistaken, the thing's got a web GUI (of course, I say this without even knowing the model #...) Check the manual (or their support site (good luck!)) for it's IP address, and see if you can't log into it from your machine. If you've got the right address but it's not logging you in, try assigning yourself an IP in the same subnet and see if that does the trick.
