anyone enable 4x fsaa when playing CS?

do you take a pretty big hit on ur fps? also, i noticed that when fsaa is enabled (either 2x or 4x), all text on the screen gets really blurred. is that normal? other than the fps hit and blurred text, i can see that fsaa really gives me a nicer display

Did you trying enabling Aniso filter or raising the LOD value? It might make your text look a little better.

I get the blurry text too when FSAA is enabled. It's fine when its disabled

i dunno man...for some reason, i really can't stand the blurred text with fsaa enabled. i think i'd rather pump up the resolution to max and live without the fsaa. tho it gives me a great image and all...the blurry text drives me nutz! still haven't had anyone throw a smoke bomb at me yet... hope i can walk right thru and stab myself a terrorist

with my v5 and fsaax4, installed the minigl driver for HL and set it to use that in the 3d settings and it fixed the blurry text.
