My poor 1.4 Athlon is only marking a lil over 1000 points in benchmarking, SO, i gotta figure out what is wrong...

Starting with the Video card, my V5 5500 is only reporting 32mb of Ram. I have dnloaded the WIN XP drivers showing from the links at 3dfx.com, so not using the stock drivers that come with XP.

Any ideas would be beneficial.

I think it has something to do with the onboard SLI of the V5, 32mb per GPU. Something is wrong though you should be up around 3k with a V5-1.4.

Yah, Sandra reports only the amount of memory per GPU, with 2 VSA 100 chips the 64MB of RAM is shared, and with some of the overlapping there is actually a bit less than 64MB for textures.

As for your 3dmark2k1 scores, that is a bit low. I got around 2500k with my V5 PCI and 1.4 T-bird at 1.6gigs. Problem though is that 3dmarkdk1 is a very T&L driven benchmark. Also, with no vertex and pixel shaders, it can't even run the nature test which'll put another dent in your score. I had to turn hardware T&L off before I could even run 3dmark2k1. Make sure you have "geometry assist" enabled in your 3dfx tools and try turning off hardware T&L.
