I think most of the problems with the cards is the lack of GDDR3. One reason you can get an 6800NU for under 300 just about anywhere is because it only uses DDR1. You can find GT's and X800 Pros if you really look around and newegg had Asus XTPE's just the other day for 550 which is good too. Right now there are 3 version of the Pros in stock at Newegg right now and a few Ultra and GT's to come in stock with in a few days.
Though I do think most everyone here is crazy to spend 400 bucks on a video card... Only reaon I got mine is because I got on the CompUSA deal. Oh well
