Anyone else working late tonight?

I just wanted to see who else is burning midnight oil. I'm in the middle of copying everyone's Email to a new volume... It's taking forever.....I wish we had a nice little SAN so I wouldn't have to continually increase the size of the SCSI arrays. 🙁

Are you salary, or making uber over time right now?

we have a plush leather couch in the breakroom where I work. it takes everything I have not to fall asleep after I eat....

I'm salaried. But things are pretty flexible for me around here. I can basically make my own schedule as long as I'm not too far from home or the office to fix the problems.

We have a nice IP KVM on our server rack and I'm actually able to work from my office....down the hall from the server room. Makes it nice cause I have my dual screen monitors and a fridge. My office chair is leather with heat and massage, etc. Give me a chance to relax, watch dvds and the server progress at the same time.

We only do these upgrades once or twice a year...not too bad. Since I'm the one doing them, I don't have to worry about stupid mistakes. I'm pretty good with Dell PERC controllers and RAID arrays.....it gets confusing when you're swapping PowerVaults and PERCs and the NVRAM is reading one array while th disk has another on it.
