Anyone else with an eVGA 6800GS?

I purchased parts from Newegg late last week in order to build a cheap gaming system for my boss's sons. One of the parts was an eVGA 6800GS card. It came in this morning, and as I'm taking the video card box out of the shipping box, I hear something rattling around inside. I open it up, and to my surprise, NOTHING is secured inside the box. The card itself is wrapped with only a bubble-wrap sleeve, which folds over on the end and tapes together. Where the sleeve folds over, there are 4 resistors (atleast that's what I would call them) attached to the PCB, 2 of which that had broken off and were loose inside the box.

Since this is supposed to be a gift for Christmas, I plan on calling Newegg and finding out if they'll ship another first, or whether I'll have to order another one to get it here. But can anyone else with this card verify that their cards came loose in the box as well? I can't imagine a stand-up company like eVGA lets their $200+ cards just slide around in the retail box like that. All other components were also loose in the box, although still wrapped in plastic as if new.

If someone confirms this is the case, I'm going with another vendor during reorder later this morning. Thanks.

That doesn't sound right at all. My EVGA 6800GT came very well secured, like any retail card would be.

Nope it is not EVGA, newegg does some retarded things quite often it seems.
