Anyone else weirded out by their Google Toolbar today?

I opened my browser and noticed all the hearts. At first I didn't know wtf was going on until I realized that Google must have some way to remotely skin the buttons.

Interesting...



Edit: Apparently not everyone's is showing the hearts. :confused:

I checked the Google Toolbar Help Page and found this:

I've noticed themes on the site before but never on the toolbar. I'm still curious as to why some people have it and some don't.

It would be kind of scary to see that your toolbar would have a heart on for you. ;)

Some people probably have the beta version which doesn't include the hearts. I actually installed the toolbar yesterday and I am seeing the hearts.

Talk about crazy! I logged into my wife's XP account and and her Google Toolbar looks normal.

Am I the only one around that has the themed version?

I just loaded up IE with the google toolbar and it doesn't have it. I know I am running the latest version of the toolbar too.

mine has them too, I just noticed that now though. I'm using the latest version and definitely didn't install anything other then what's critical (popup blocker, and basic toolbar)

My PC at work is normal. My PC at home is skinned. I didn't check the laptop.

It kind of scared me first, I was half asleep checking my mail when I noticed it, I thought it was that stupid hotbar spyware at first glance.

I was a little surprised at first too but I realized that Valentines was coming up...didn't think they would put hearts onto the Toolbar though.
