Anyone else watching USA vs RUS basketball?

College B-Ball does kick the NBA's butt. Overpaid whiners. I haven't cared much since the Bulls split anyway. Rodman was my player.
 
RODMAN!?!?!? He was the most overpaid whiner in the history of sports! He couldn't even make 6 foot shots!!! Oooooooh...he could rebound. Big deal. My man Zo pulls down 12 a game and still puts points on the board AND was defensive player of the year for the past TWO years. Rodman sucked. And I think there is nothing wrong with NBA players in the Olympics. Each country should send the best that they have to offer. In my opinion, they sould allow pro baseball players too. Hell, they should allow pros in all the events.

They do...its just that the Summer Olypics and the baseball season are at the same time. Chad Curtis wanted to go to the Olympics, he proposed that he be knocked down to the minors, since the Rangers aren't going anywhere anyway, and then he could go (the minor league season ends about 25 games earlier than the pro season). However, the pres. or manager of the Rangers said no for some reason. If I remember correctly, he said no because it would set a precedent or some B.S. like that.
