Anyone Else Watch The Bird Flu Movie Last Night?

GasX

My mother-in-law is visiting and she wanted to watch it, so we all sat down and suffered through this complete pile of crap. It had the makings of a cheap Lifetime chick flick about a woman who is divorce but triumphs over life - except everyone died and Valerie Bertinelli was not in it.

I have not seen a disaster movie this bad since "The Day After" came out in the early 80's. The plot sucked, the acting sucked, the characters were either cliche or paper thin. At least most of the key characters died or got to see their loved ones die...

I saw it was on, that was about as much attention as I gave it. I have no interest in watching crap like that. I was tired of hearing about it on the news, I certainly didn't need a made-for-TV movie about it.

While I can't over state the horrificness of this movie, I actually found it quite entertaining.

Trainwreck television at its best...

It actually wasnt too bad.
I liked the end, the thought hanging out there that we're all going to die.

More to the point, it did remind me I need to order some N95'2 and check on this local place I just found that sells bulk grains.....Hopefully prepackaged. I also need to check to see if a group buy is coming up for mountain house food again case I need a few more cases.

O&A were talking about it this morning, and they were playing a bunch of clips from it. Sounds likea hillarious movie! It's a comedy- right? 😀

Sounds like another blatant attempt to keep us scared, so we'll believe the govt when they tell us how well they are protecting us...

It was stupid. Like most diasters movie, hell, any hollywood movie, they overexaggerated everything... but there was no suspense or anything to the movie.

The only good thing was how they made the French the bad guys 😛

Exactly. Sad thing is, many Americans actually believe this pile of crap.
I saw the commercial for it, and it looked way overexaggerated.
