Two mouses for the same computer? I use a mx700 for general computer use and I switch over to my Intellimouse for graphical work and fps gaming. Both are always plugged in and are just sitting side by side. I often switch between the two since the sensitivity settings are different for each mouse.

btw mouses is the correct term to use when talking about more than one computer mouse.

I have two mice plugged into my PC at work, but I only use the wireless USB one. I've been too lazy to get under my desk and unplug the PS2 one. They both function, though.

It's MICE

Not me, but I have a friend that uses a regular optical mouse and a trackball for other stuff (same comp)

I use two as well- my favorite mouse, the USB IBM Scrollpoint pro doesn't work all the time, so I have a $2 PS/2 optical hooked up as well in case it decides to act funny that particular startup.

nope, it's mouses

The jury is still out actually.

Both are acceptable. Though personally I think mouses is preferred.

Mouses...

And no, I only use one mouse, my MX510, for both gaming and graphix.

I've got the Duo MX combo so I don't really want to switch it out a perfectly good keyboard. Plus logitechs are a little too small for my hands.

I like the "fistful" feel of the old 3.0 intellimouse, I just wish my original didn't die because that design was perfection for my spider fingers.

Wow I thought the MX510 was huge compared to my old HP optical mouse. Now I can't stand how small the HP one is. How big are the Intellimouses? I actually like the look of the Intellis better but I got the MX510 because it was "better for gaming."

I did at work, because my boss bought me a wireless mouse that I hated, so I brought in my own mouse from home. However, because of the way the desk was set up, a wireless mouse was more convenient, so I switched between the two. He was spastic when he found out about this. "You can't have two mice on the same computer! You'll crash it all the time! It's a wonder it's still functioning!"

Spouses? Spice? Hmm. Maybe you're on to something there.

I have two keyboards and three mice on my computer already, and actually would have a couple more, if I had some PS/2 opticals handy.

USB mouses are cheap as dirt nowadays
