anyone else use godaddy?

I just got 20 emails from "crushlink.com" ... addressed to weird stuff, like ursula@ ... poop@ ... etc ... but 3 of the recipient names were domain names that I have at godaddy.

Anyone else?

godaddy sucks, I bought a few names from them for a project, they never told me that they automatically renew every year. Found out when I saw charges to my account.

All of my domains are with godaddy.com. Never had a problem. Even added the anonymous whois information on a couple of them.

I have 5 domains with them, and my company has like 700. Everybody at our office seems to like them, and they are a lot better than Network Solutions (or, as we like to call them, VeriSUCK).

No problem with godaddy here, although I've got my contact info masked. It was pretty clear that they will auto-renew, too.

Ditto, it says right on the info it will auto renew to prevent you from losing the domain. I use them for 3 of my websites, no complaints here.

I really dislike GoDaddy's control panel so I use NameCheap.com all the way 🙂

Eventually I'll move everything to my eNom account.

other than the price... is there anything enom has to offer over namecheap?

Greater control since you are a reseller you can charge people whatever you want for a domain since you are the middle man.

For instance in the local web hosting market, I charge $20/yr for domain registration using my eNom account. I get maybe 4-5 new sign ups a month.

I use them, and so far, I think I got one mail a week from godaddy soliciting new deals them have for hostings. I wouldn't call it spam.
