I'm not a dem, but I guess I may as well be :p

the more I think about it, the more I think the broad's gotta go. I'm still kinda flabbergasted by her inability to get a bill with +70% public support passed with a veto-proof margin, even after adjusting the bill to address republican concerns.

She's as useful as tits on a bull, but that can be said for the entire congress. They should all be fired and replaced by anybody who's ever won at least $5000 on Jeopardy.

After 14 years of the Republicans controlling Congress and the fact that the Democrats do not have enough votes to overturn a veto, I am willing to give the Democratic leadership more than 11 months to turn things around.

Just because you can read a book and remember facts does not make a person smart, what is needed is more common sense.

That's what I've thought about the Bushwhackos since they first stole the Presidency. As of 10/30/07 8:33 pm EDT, we'd have 3,842 fewer dead Americans in Iraq.

Dennis Kucinich is the only Democrat with enough balls to call for Bush and Cheney's immediate impeachment. I wish there were enough Democrats in the House, including Pelosi, willing to enforce the Constitution against them.

Nah she pisses of Bush and his handlers and the Bozos that support them so she's ok in my book. Once they are gone and we get the Democratic version of those assholes in the White House then she can jump off a cliff as far as I'm concernewd.

My thoughts exactly. I don't care for Pelosi personally, record aside she really comes off as a snotty b!tch at times, but in all honesty when you've got an admin like this one repeatedly fvcking this country and the concepts we're supposed to hold dear, I have a hard time bashing her specifically. If she ever reaches a Tom DeLay level, well that's different. ;)

Bigger fish to fry for those concerned with Federal job performance IMO...

Unfortunately 'Common Sense' does not appear to be all that common.

I say so long as you can read this, comprehend what its points are, and abide by them, then your in.

I'm more sick of reid than pelosi - at least pelosi can get bills through her channels, reid can barely stay on track for a couple hours

Fortunately for those of thus with brains larger than pebbles, there are other issues to consider.

With that said, Pelosi is pretty annoying and hasn't done too much, but there are far worse politicians screwing things up.

If you are talking about S-chip then you seem to miss the fact that she is one of the reasons more Republicans are not jumping on board to over ride the veto.

She had a chance to go to the Republicans who were most likely to switch votes and get their help and support in voting for the bill and passed that up and instead pissed off a bunch of moderate Republicans.

At the same time Democrat allies were running anti-Republican ads based on their S-chip votes thus pissing them off as well.

At the end of the day instead of getting more votes for the S-chip bill they lost a vote.

That really depends on your scale. I guess Harry Reid might rank a bit lower.

Nothing you have is yours if you can't defend it. None of your freedoms, none of your property, none of your loved ones. Security comes first. Your willingness to eschew responsibility for your own security and instead surrender yourself to the protection of the state will lead to a totalitarian state (for you.)

More than likely the majority of folks with guns will be behind any folk who would like to take away our rights.

I believe in all of our rights, and I support them wholeheartedly. For example, the patriot act is crap.

Edit: And that's why all the folks should have guns, yourself included. If you have any interest in securing your rights, that is.

Perhaps it wasn't clear, but I was referring to the fact that there is MORE than one issue to consider - Nebor has a one track mind.

I'm not a gun grabber brainiac, so take your eye rolling elsewhere

My point is that I do not evaluate one persons performance based on one issue. There are a lot more issues to consider too. Being a gun grabber is a strike against her, in my book, but it isn't the only topic one should look at.

Ah, I'm a single issue voter. Mainly because that single issue gives me the final say in all the others.

Here is something I can agree with. I'd rather ditch the Patriot Act and defend myself rather than have the goverment trample my rights.

Well, not legally it doesn't, but I guess it can solve problems in a rather specific way.

maybe this is the new-fangled nclb math, but i don't think your figures are quite right.

I got so many guns I don't know how many I got and I hardly ever think about them. And I sure as hell don't spend any time fantasizing saving freedom with them. A fish rots at the head so to be safe I decided I'd better know how my mind works. I met my greatest enemy and it's definitely me.
