Anyone else think The Pledge was a piece of horse's crap for a movie? *spoiler*

This movie was slow but I was hoping for a nice ending to make it all worth while so I didn't have any complaints. Then the last few minutes when I realized that yes indeed the movie was going to stop after the bad guy crashed I thought "you gotta be kidding me."

Last movie I saw with Sean Penn was U-Turn. Very very boring and pointless. He directed this. This movie is the biggest anti-climax I have ever had. This is the worst case of blue balls ever. I'm pissed! I just had 2 hours stolen!

I've always called it "The Lemon Pledge." Sounds like I made a good choice in not seeing the film...
