I didnt realize that they were building the new game on the OLD half life engine. It looks like it is gonna be pretty weak. Is anyone going to get this game in the midst of everything else coming in the next few monts (XIII, Halo, HALF LIFE 2)?

CS is great, dont get me wrong. I have put of many a night's homework for CS. But Im not gonna pay $50 for CS2 when it is essentially CS with some new crap. I'd rather pay $50 for HL2 which has TONS of new crap.

I would upgrade to CS2 if it was proved beyond a reasonable doubt to be cheat-proof...who cares if its still on a 6-year old engine.

My buddy is working on the game guide. Haven't had a chance to see the pics yet.

Played it at E3, was a bit impressed with it - i think its based off of the 1.6 engine. The biggest new feature is multiplayer NOT ONLINE (bots). It has the 1.6 guns, no shield(i think), overall i'd say its worth it, but not for $50.
