Anyone else that quit Vanguard get a email with 2 months free access to EQ2?

Not a bad deal considering the $50 that I paid for Vanguard was a waste of money

I guess 2 free months of EQ 2 is a nice consolation prize

yeah if you log into your station account, it's definitely there. didn't get an e-mail or anything though.. too bad it wasn't a WoW subscription though, or at least give me a way to delay the sub since I'll be busy for the next two months.

I didn't, but I resubbed to EQ2 before my VG sub ran out.

I receive 1 Email from SoE every 6 months or so on releases, hardly spam. It's nice to see the usual wild accusations though, wouldn't be an SoE thread without it.


It makes sense considering they own both games now... and Everquest 2 has an enormous amount of content compared to Vanguard and other titles so if they can get people to transfer there, it's a win win situation. Give Vanguard another year and it'll probably become what it should have been.
