Anyone else stuck with the crap known as Frontier Communications?

Man this shit just pisses me off. Every night of the week between 6:30 and midnight you can bet money that these assholes are throttling bandwidth. I'm paying for something that I don't get to use when I want to....It drives me crazy.

There are utilities that will tell you if throttling or packet shaping is going on. If you can prove they are, and you are not getting the bandwidth you're paying for, you have every right to raise some hell.

However, be very careful to read your agreement. It's likely they say you'll get 'up to' that speed. They probably guarantee 1/4 or less of the speed you purchased.

As dumb as it was for Verizon to build FiOS, they really lucked out when they found suckers for their useless landlines and dsl.
