One of the things I like most about not being religious is that I have no restrictions on what food I can eat.

Fixed. I can't live without bacon. The world would be better though if you didn't call religious people silly and they didn't call agnostics godless heathens. You threw the first stone in this thread though, knowing or hoping your comment would anger someone else. Now that's a silly thing for an adult to want to do.

he didn't call religious people silly, he called the food restrictions silly. with modern sanitation and cooking techniques the restrictions are mostly silly. the ones that operate on holidays that are tradition aren't silly, but the everyday thing against bacon is. when was the last time someone in the modern world died of trichinosis?

I went to the Dodger game last night and invoked the "Stadium Rule" (All dietary restrictions, health or religion related, are suspended when in a stadium (or arena), especially when attending a professional or major college sporting event.)

I hate the Dodgers, but I love Dodger Dogs (especially free ones!).

It goes best with pork.

Really?

I like bacon and cheese on matzah sandwiches.

Is that wrong?

I can't say either way MotionMan, I'm just used to having seafood w/ some butter and lemon and not mixing w/ meat.

I don't observe any of that stuff. Good for me, because Bay Area has a big shortage of matzah this year.
If I had any left from last year, I would have gladly given it away, but I threw it all away - it got stale.

The only I couldnt do if I was jewish is the chopped liver. Especially being a nurse, eating the poison filter of any other animal just makes me cringe in horror.

And a staple of my diet for one week a year.
