Anyone else still having problems with their SB Live! card and XP?

I have posted a few messages trying to get my surround sound problem solved with my SB Live 5.1 X-Gamer card. Whne the computer starts up, I will not get sound out of my surround speakers. The only way I get sound out of my surround speakers is when I reselect the 4 speaker setup option, which it is already set to. Go figure. It seems to me like some sort of software confliction. Note: I am running Win XP Pro.
 
There is another driver you have to get from Creative that solves this problem. I never had the problem, but I've been hearing about it ever since XP came out, and that was the solution found.
 
Using the latest Creative drivers & WinXP Home edition.

No problems with my 5.1 setup & my xgamer.

BTW: The default drivers that came with WinXP worked fine also for me.

As a matter of fact I think it was AkumaBao that PMed me back & forth until we figured out my troubles with xp & my live were mere stupid mistakes on my part, now my setup works flawlessly with the generic xp drivers or creatives.
