Say that to someone 5 years ago and you would have been handed a dotcom, a ferrari and an IPO date

"This thread is the sucks. Elite speak owns your noob ass!"

or

"This thread sucks. Internet speak owns your newbie buttocks!"

Or something like that.

No, you are not elite. If you type like that, you are definitely elitist. :)

The Corn i'm with you, I think this l337 speak sh|t is bloody awful. If computing used to be seen as geeky and sad, this new hacker language only adds to that image. It's frankly laughable. But I suppose it is only the kids i.e. new generation of computer users who are using it so as long as the adults don't get into it, it should be OK, lol.

Yeah. If some poor fool IM's me using "1337" or "h0" when I'm 80, you better believe I will take my gas-gusling Grand-marquee up to his doorstep, and have my grankids go up to his house and beat the sh!1t out of him

I still don't know for sure. Apparently I was too strong, too romantically successful, and too knowledeable. Nerds don't like being told "No, you're wrong. <insert long, lengthy, whitepaper-like technical description of somthing blatently obvious here>" or "No, you can't come over to play Starcraft, I'm going to be playing SexCraft with Jessica." or "WTF kind of weenie are you? You needed help to move a 19 inch monitor?"

--Me, on being rejected by nerds

Who quotes themselves in their sig? Worse, who quotes themselves talking about how good they are in their sig? :D :D
