I swear i know like 20 people who are sick with the flu right now and almost everywhere i go i run into people who are coughing or sniffling.

Symptoms:

Sniffling,
coughing,
excessive nose rubbing and kleenex in hands.
Sneezing. Lots of sneezing.
Fever (around 100-102)
Sinus Congestion
Sinus headaches due to sinus congestion
Upset Stomache
Nausea/ Dizzyness
sore throat

My question is...new flu...already?
BTW I'm in San Francisco area

Not right now thank God...I'm supposed to have surgery for something in about two weeks, and I'd hate it to be postponed even longer from a nonsense illness.

If they have the above symptoms.. it's most likely allergies.. more so than Flu at this time..

Thats what i thought at first too...but then i developed sinus congestions which produced sinus headaches and also upset stomaches, fever and nausea.

Forgot to mention those...hehe

That crap went around El Paso, TX about 6 weeks ago. Me, my wife and two 6 month old sons got it. I suffered longer than the rest of my family because I caught it from all them.

<<Well, the CDC has publically expressed the concern that with
all the anti-biotics that are stupidly being fed to farm animals
such as chickens and pigs (to reduce disease and therefore boost
yields) we can expect a new super drug-resistent strain of influenza
to hit North America in the next few years (saw this on a TLC
documentary).>>

Ya know that is the biggest bunch of sh!t I've seen posted in a while. Know why? Influenza is a VIRUS and is UNEFFECTED by anti-biotics.

I've just been having a bad case of the allergies for the past couple of weeks or so. Medication hasn't really helped me, it sucks.
