KT266 vs KT266A

I saw this on Anandtech's news section. Seemed like a decent review, I found it a bit odd though. Most of the other reviews on the KT266A reflect different numbers. Is it really only ~5% faster then the KT266? I guess I shouldn't second guess the guys analysis but Anandtech's (as well as other's) left me with a different impression. Thoughts?
